Alkali Metals - Outcome of AGM

Alkali Metals Ltd has informed BSE that the members at the 41st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on May 30, 2009, inter alia, have considered and approved the Annual Accounts for the year ended March 31, 2009. Further, the major outcome of the meeting is as follows:

1. The Shareholders approved payment of dividend at 40% on Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each.

2. The shareholders re-appointed Sri. Ch S Prasad and Sri. G Jayaraman as Directors of the Company.

3. M/s. CKS Associates, Chartered Accountants, Hyderabad were appointed as Auditors of the Company for the year 2009-10 in place of M/s. Avadhani & Co., Hyderabad who retired at the 41st Annual General Meeting.

4. Sri. Y S R Venkata Rao was re-appointed as Managing Director of the Company.
