Sumeru Industries - Outcome of Board Meeting

Sumeru Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 24, 2009, inter alia, there have been changes in the Designation / Status of the Directors as under:

1. Shri. Supreme P Shah: Resigned as Chairman w.e.f. July 24, 2009 however he will continue as Director (Independent, Non Executive)

2. Shri. Vipul H Raja: Appointed as Chairman (Non Executive) w.e.f. July 24, 2009.

3. Shri. Nandit V Raja: Presently Executive Director has been appointed as Managing
Director (Executive) & CEO w.e.f. July 24, 2009.

A Resolution will be placed at the ensuing Annual General Meeting for Appointment of
Mr. Nandit V Raja as Managing Director of the Company as per provisions of section 269 of the Companies Act 1956.

There are no other changes in the constitution of the Board of Directors of the Company either by appointment or resignation or otherwise.
