Alchemist Corporation Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 31, 2009, inter alia, has approved the following:

1. Appointment :- Mr. Rajeev Gupta was appointed as Additional Director - Non Executive and Independent.

2. Resignation :- The Resignation of Mr. Satish Chand Rohatgi was accepted from the directorship of the Company with effect from close of working hours of July 31, 2009.
