Jaiprakash Hydro Equity Shareholders & Creditors to approve Scheme of Amalgamation

Jaiprakash Hydro Power Ltd has informed BSE that, by an order made on August 24, 2009, the Court has directed that a meeting of the Equity Shareholders & Creditors of Jaiprakash Hydro-Power Ltd, will be held on October 10, 2009, for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, approving, with or without modification, the proposed Scheme of Amalgamation of the Jaiprakash Hydro Power Ltd (Transferor Company) with the Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd (Transferee Company).
