Samtel Color - Extension of AGM

Samtel Color Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has closed its accounting year on March 31, 2009 and the AGM of the Company is due to be held on September 30, 2009 as per Section 166/210 of the Companies Act, 1956. However, the Board of Directors of the Company had approved by circulation under section 289 of the Companies Act, 1956, the extension of period for holding of the Annual general meeting for the financial year 2008-09 beyond the statutory period prescribed under the Companies Act, 1956.

In this connection, an application for approval of said extension had been filed with Registrar of Companies, NCT of Delhi & Haryana (RoC) on September 09, 2009 and the RoC has granted extension of 3 months to hold AGM i.e. BY December 31, 2009.
