Karuna Cables - Outcome of AGM

Karuna Cables Ltd has informed BSE that the members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 29, 2009, inter alia, have accorded the following:

1. The members have adopted the audited financial results for the financial year ended March 31, 2009.

2. The members have approved the re-appointment of Mr. Mit M. Shah, liable to be retired by rotation.

3. The members have approved the appointment of M/s. Sandip V. Doshi & Co., Chartered Accountants, Mumbai, statutory auditors of the Company to hold the office from the conclusion of this Annual General Meeting until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting.

4. The members have approved the re-appointment of Dr. Mahendra C. Shah as managing Director of the Company for a period of five years with effect from October 01, 2008.

5. The members of the Company accorded their consent to the Company for commencing and undertaking the business as enumerated in clause no.55 of Part C of Other Object of Part III of the Memorandum of Association.
