Abbott India Ltd has informed BSE about the following changes in the Board of Directors at its Board Meeting held on September 29, 2009:

1. Mr. Mario Durante has resigned as Director of the Company effective September 29, 2009.

2. Mr. John Berry has resigned as Director of the Company effective September 29, 2009.

3. Mr. Neil Aylward is appointed as an Additional Director of the Company effective September 29, 2009.

4. Mr. Laurent Van Lerberghe is appointed as an Additional Director of the Company effective September 29, 2009.

5. Mr. Zahir Lavji is appointed as an Additional Director of the Company effective September 29, 2009.

6. Mr. Vivek Mohan is reappointed as Managing Director of the Company effective November 01, 2009 subject to approval of the shareholders and Central Government.
