Union Bank of India - Change in Directorate

Union Bank of India has informed BSE that the Central Government, after consultation with Reserve Bank of India has amended the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980 and the same has been informed by Department of Financial
Services, Ministry of Finance vide their letter dated September 25, 2009.

In view of the said amendments, the Bank has informed that, Shri. Debasis Ghosh, appointed as Officer Employee Director w.e.f. November 22, 2005, has ceased to be Director of the Bank.
