Rural Electrification - Outcome of Board Meeting

Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 16, 2009, has approved the proposal of Follow-on Public Offer (FPO) of Equity Shares, subject to approval of the Government of India, and authorized the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Company for convening Extra Ordinary General Meeting {EGM) for seeking approval of Members.
