Canara Bank - Change in Directorate

Canara Bank has informed BSE that Shri. Ajay Mathur, Chartered Accountant, New Delhi, was nominated as a part-time non-official Director for a period of three years with effect from October 13, 2006 by Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (Banking Division), New Delhi, vide Gazette Notification dated October 13, 2006, in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (3) (g) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980.

The term of the said Director completed on October 12, 2009, and he ceased to be a Director on the Board of the Bank on the said date.
