Jaiprakash Associates Board approves Bonus Issue & declares Interim Dividend

Jaiprakash Associates Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 21, 2009, inter alia, has transacted the following:

1. The Board of Directors has declared interim dividend of 27% (Re. 0.54 per equity share of Rs. 2/-) for the year 2009-10.

2. The Board of Directors has decided, subject to the approval of Shareholders, to issue ONE Bonus Equity Share of Rs. 2/- for every TWO Equity Shares of Rs. 2/- each held in the Company on the Record Date to be fixed in due course.
