Vishal Retail Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 22, 2009, inter alia, has considered & approved the resignation letter submitted by Mr. Rakesh Aggarwal, Independent Director of the Company.

Mr. Rakesh Aggarwal ceases to be Director of the Company with effect from October 22, 2009.
