Idea Cellular announces Q2 results

Idea Cellular Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009:

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 2731.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 where as the same was at Rs 1503.90 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income is Rs 27971.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 where as the same was at Rs 23006.00 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.

The Consolidated Results are as follows

The Group has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 2201.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 where as the same was at Rs 1440.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income is Rs 30056.00 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 where as the same was at Rs 23036.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.
