Rural Electrification announces Q2 results

Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 4943.60 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 3087.90 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 11735.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 16229.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009.
