Aditya Birla Nuvo announces Q2 results

has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 592.40 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 where as the same was at Rs 653.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income is Rs 12491.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 where as the same was at Rs 13502.60 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.

The Consolidated Results are as follows

The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 14.40 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 where as the net loss was at Rs (1046.00) million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income is Rs 49529.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 where as the same was at Rs 36697.30 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.

Figures for the current quarter and year to date of Consolidated Financial Results are not comparable with that of the corresponding previous periods since there has been acquisitions / disposals / stake changes / mergers / de-mergers in subsidiaries and joint ventures of the Company.
