Firstsource Solutions Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 27, 2009, has appointed Mr. Ram V. Chary as a Director of the Company in place of Mr. Donald W. Layden, representing 'Metavante Investments (Mauritius) Ltd. (Metavante), equity investor of the Company holding 20% in the share capital of the Company.

Mr. Donald W. Layden, Director, hitherto representing the interest of Metavante as a shareholder on the Company's Board and who has since left Metavante, will continue as an 'Independent Director' at the request of the Board.
