Bank of Baroda - Appointment of Director

Bank of Baroda has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by of sub section 3 (h) and (3-A) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub clause (1) of clause 3 of Nationalised Banks (Management & Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme 1970/1980, the Central Government has nominated Dr. Masarrat Shahid as part time, non official director on the Board of Bank of Baroda, for a second term of three years w.e.f. October 29, 2009 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
