With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled Bajaj Hind may buy Balrampur, Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd has clarified to BSE that the promoters of Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd. have not entered into any agreement with any party for sale of their stake in Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd. Hence, there is no substance in the news. However, some discussions were held with Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd. on future business strategies.
