| Allahabad Bank has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section 3 of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause (3) and sub-clause (1) of clause (8) of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provision) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, vide their Notification dated January 23, 2014, have appointed Shri Jal Karan Singh Kharb, General Manager Dena Bank, as Executive Director of the Bank, from the date of taking over charge of the post, for a, period up to June 30, 2016 i.e. the date of his attaining the age of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Accordingly, Shri Jal Karan Singh Kharb has assumed office of Executive Director of the Bank on January 23, 2014. | |
