ALLAHABAD BANK - Appointment of Executive Director

| Allahabad Bank has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section 3 of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause (3) and sub-clause (1) of clause (8) of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Govt, of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, vide their Notification dated March 10, 2015, have appointed Shri N. K. Sahoo, General Manager Canara Bank, as Executive Director of the Bank, with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post and upto February 28, 2019, i.e. till the date of his attaining the age of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Accordingly, Shri N. K. Sahoo has assumed office of Executive Director of the Bank on date i.e. March 12, 2015. | |
