ALSTOM India Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has appointed Mr. Rathin Basu as its new Chairman, effective April 01, 2014. Mr. Basu will succeed Mr. Sunand Sharma.<br/><br/>Mr. Basu will continue to head Alstom TandD India Limited (ATDIL) as the Managing Director, in addition to this new role.<br/><br/>The Board of Directors of the Company has approved the aforesaid appointment on March 21, 2014.
