| Andhra Bank has informed BSE that the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, New Delhi, vide its Gazette Notification F.N0.4/5/2013-BO-I dated 13th March, 2015, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3 and sub clause (1) of clause 8 of The Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, has informed that the Central Government has appointed Shri Ajit Kumar Rath, General Manager, Union Bank of India, as Executive Director on the Board of Directors of Andhra Bank, for a period of five years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.<BR><BR>The Bank further inform that Shri Ajit Kumar Rath, has assumed charge as Executive Director, Andhra Bank on 13.03.2015. | |
