We refer to our letter no. 666/25/P.181/534 dated March 18, 2017 informing about the Capital allocation by Government of India for the financial year 2017. In this regard, we wish to inform that the meeting of Board of Directors of the Bank is scheduled to be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 inter alia, to consider the following proposal(s)- (a) for raising of Equity Capital of the Bank by way of preferential allotment to Government of India(GOI), subject to necessary approvals/permissions. (b) for raising of Equity Capital of the Bank through Qualified Institutional Placement, Follow-on Public Offer, etc. at an appropriate time.
