Ashok Leyland Ltd has informed BSE that the Fund Raising Committee of the Company at its meeting held July 04, 2014, approved the issue and allotment of 18,52,00,000 Equity Shares of face value Re. 1 each to eligible Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) at the issue price of Rs. 36.00 per Equity Share, aggregating to Rs. 666,72,00,000 (Rupees Six Hundred Sixty Six Crore and Seventy Two Lakh Only).
