This is to inform you that the NCLT vide its Order passed on Thursday, 27th July, 2017 ('Order'), inter alia, directed the Company to convene and hold a meeting of the equity shareholders of the Company for seeking their approval to the Scheme of Amalgamation of Asian Paints (International) Limited, wholly owned subsidiary company of the Company with the Company. <BR> Accordingly, a meeting of the equity shareholders would be held on Thursday, 14th September, 2017 at 11.00 a.m. at Patkar Hall, Nathibai Thackersey Road, New Marine Lines, Mumbai 400 020. <BR> In this connection, we enclose a copy of the notice convening the meeting of the equity shareholders of the Company under Sections 102, 230 read with Section 232 of the Companies Act, 2013 along with other relevant annexures, which are being sent to the shareholders by permitted mode. <BR> The Notice of the Meeting is also available on our website www.asianpaints.com. <BR>
