Ballarpur Industries Ltd has informed BSE that Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), vide its letter dated June 25, 2015, has informed that Mr. A. P. Singh, Nominee Director on the Board of Directors of the Company (Board), has resigned from the Board vide his letter dated May 27, 2015 and has proposed Mr. B. Venugopal, to represent LIC as its Nominee Director on the Board.<BR><BR>Mr. A. P. Singh in his letter dated May 27, 2015 received alongwith his LIC's aforesaid letter has informed that his resignation is on account of his completion of 2 terms of 3 years each as Nominee Director of LIC.<BR><BR>Consequently, Mr. A. P. Singh, has ceased to be a Nominee Director of LIC w.e.f. close of business hours on June 25, 2015 and Mr. B. Venugopal shall be appointed by the Board in his place.
