With reference to the earlier letter dated November 24, 2014, Ballarpur Industries Ltd has now informed BSE that Avantha Power & Infrastructure Limited (APIL) has signed a binding Share Purchase Agreement with Adani Power Limited for acquisition of APIL's entire shareholding in Korba West Power Company Limited (KWPCL), a subsidiary of APIL. KWPCL has commissioned a coal based thermal power plant of 600 MW and is valued in excess of Rs. 4,200 Crores.<BR><BR>APIL is a Company promoted by Avantha Holdings Limited, Crompton Greaves Limited and the Company. The Company and its step down subsidiary, Bilt Graphic Paper Products Limited are equity shareholders of APIL.
