Ballarpur Industries Ltd has informed BSE that, to enable significant time commitments of Mr. P. V. Bhide and Ms. Jane Fields Wicker-Miurin as Directors on the Board of Ballarpur International Graphic Paper Holdings B.V., The Netherlands (BIGPH), a step down subsidiary of the Company, they have resigned as Directors of the Company effective March 31, 2014.<br/><br/>The Company believes that BIGPH would contribute to the further growth of its business and explore and evaluate various fund raising options. BIGPH holds the substantial paper business in India and entire paper business in Malaysia through its step down subsidiaries.
