Bank of India has informed BSE that in the exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of The Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub clause (1) of clause 3 and sub clause (1) of clause 8 of The Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Central Government has appointed Shri Atanu Kumar Das, General Manager, Vijaya Bank as Executive Director of Bank of India for a period of 3 years with effect from the date of his taking over of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.<BR><BR>He has taken charge on February 17, 2017.
