With reference to the earlier announcement dated August 02, 2014 regarding AAIFR order dated July 17, 2014, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd has now informed BSE that BHEL had challenged the AAIFR order at Delhi High Court. The matter was remanded by Delhi High Court to AAIFR to consider the merits of matter. AAIFR upheld the sanctioned scheme with modified payment schedule of 1997 wage arrears and rejected the contentions of appellants (BHPV Officers' Association, BHPV U/V Series (Ex-Trainee) and BHPV Retired & VR Employees Welfare Society).
