With reference to the news item appearing on Business Standard on August 22, 2015 titled "USFDA observations", Biocon Ltd has Clarified to BSE as under:<BR><BR>"We wish to clarify that USFDA conducts audit at regular intervals. Biocon underwent such inspection in June 2015, wherein a few minor observations in the nature of recommendations were made by the regulatory team. All those have been considered by the Company and closed out with the FDA.<BR><BR>None of the USFDA observations were material in nature to have bearing on operation / performance of the Company or price sensitive in nature."
