The Exchange had sought clarification from Cairn India Ltd with respect to news article appearing in The Financial Express on September 11, 2015 titled "Cairn set to go to the International Court of Justice against India".<BR> <BR>Cairn India Ltd replied stating "We would like to clarify that the media report pertains to Cairn Energy Plc. <BR> <BR>Cairn Energy Plc, the erstwhile promoter company of Cairn India Limited (CIL), is not a part of CIL, other than holding CIL shares through its subsidiary viz. Cairn UK Holdings Limited."
