| Canara Bank has informed BSE that Shri Sutanu Sinha, was nominated as a Part-Time Non-Official Director on the Board of Directors of the Bank, for a period of 3 years from the date of notification or until further orders which is the earliest, vide notification dated October 17, 2011 by Ministry of Finance, Government of India, in exercise of the powers conferred by <br/>sub-section 3(h) and (3-A) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3 of the Nationalized Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980.<br/><br/>The term of the said Director completed on October 16, 2014 and ceased to be a Director on the Board of the Bank on the said date. | |
