| With reference to the letter dated February 25, 2015 regarding voluntary liquidation of CFCL Overseas Limited, Cayman Islands (CFCL Overseas), a wholly owned subsidiary of Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (Chambal), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd has now informed BSE that CFCL Technologies Limited, Cayman Islands (CFCL Tech") is a subsidiary of CFCL Overseas. In pursuance of voluntary liquidation, all assets of CFCL Overseas including the entire holding of CFCL Overseas in CFCL Tech has been transferred to Chambal.<BR><BR>The aforesaid assets are being accounted for in the books of Chambal based on the fair valuation. The fair value of such assets is lower by Rs. 107 Crore in comparison to the investment of Chambal in CFCL Overseas and the results of Chambal for the quarter and the year ending March 31, 2015 will be impacted to that extent. | |
