With reference to the earlier letter dated April 27, 2015 and May 11, 2015, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd has now informed BSE that a proposal for Increase in Authorised Share Capital of the Company and a proposal for Issue of Preference Shares on private placement preferential allotment basis to Indian Oil Corporation Limited (One of the Promoters of the company), are likely to be considered by the Board of Directors of the Company at the meeting scheduled to be held on May 23, 2015.
