The Exchange had sought clarification from Crompton Greaves Ltd with respect to news appearing in DNA on April 20, 2015 titled "Advent - led group to buy Crompton Greaves unit for $350 million."<BR><BR>Crompton Greaves Ltd replied stating "We wish to inform you that the promoters have already disclosed their intention to sell a portion of their shareholding in the company which will house the demerged Consumer business of the Company. <BR><BR>The Company has however not been informed regarding the specific deal and its timing as reported by DNA."
