Some newspapers in the North East India have reported that a local authority North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council appears to have issued notice to our step-down subsidiary Calcom Cement India Limited for shut down of its plants. We are advised that all necessary approvals and permissions necessary to run our step-down subsidiary's plants are in place and it would be illegal to shut down the step-down subsidiary's plants' operations. We will be pursuing our legal remedies in appropriate forums to protect our interests, in the event that the authority insists for shut down of the said plants.
