| Dena Bank has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings ) Act, 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Central Government, vide notification dated April 16, 2014 has nominated Ms. Anna Roy, Director, Department of Financial Services as Government Nominee Director, on the Board of Dena Bank with immediate effect and until further orders, in place of Shri Rajat Sachar.<br/><br/>As per above notification, Ms. Anna Roy is appointed as Government Nominee Director of the Bank and Shri Rajat Sachar ceases as a Director on the Board of the Bank w.e.f. April 16, 2014. | |
