| With reference to the news item in "The Economic Times" dated September 01, 2014, titled "Prudential Fin to Sell 50% in Pramerica to Dewan Housing", Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd has clarified to BSE as under:<br/><br/>"The aforesaid report is speculative. As a matter of policy, we do not comment on speculative reports appearing in media or on any increase or decrease in the price of the Company's share.<br/><br/>As a part of our growth strategy, we are continuously exploring opportunities across the spectrum of the Indian financial services industry.<br/><br/>However, no agreement of the nature referred to in the report has crystallized nor has any such agreement been discussed at any meeting of the Board of Directors of DHFL, requiring intimation to the Stock Exchanges." | |
