EID Parry India Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on 30, 2014, have approved a Scheme of Amalgamation for amalgamating Parr Phytoremedies Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary Company (transferor company) with E.I.D.- Parry (India) Limited (transferee company), subject to various regulatory and other approvals.<br/><br/>Parry Phytoremedies Private Limited (Parry Phyto), being a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company and the entire equity share capital of Parry Phyto being held by the Company, there will be no issue of equity shares by the transferee company pursuant to the amalgamation.
