| Empee Sugars and Chemicals Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on September 26, 2014, inter alia, to consider the following:<br/><br/>1. Sale / Disposal of Assets of Power unit located at Ambasamudram Integrated Sugar Complex of the Company, subject to approval of lenders, Banks and other statutory authorities and to issue Postal Ballot notice to seek the approval of Shareholders for the Sale / Disposal of the same under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and<br/><br/>2. To withdraw the Composite Scheme of Amalgamation of Empee Distilleries Limited with the Company, pending before the Honble High Court, Andhra Pradesh. | |
