| The Exchange has sought clarification from Future Retail Ltd with respect to news article appearing in The Economic Times on December 25, 2014 titled "Premji Shores up Biyani's Future with Rs. 175 cr. Cash"<BR><BR>Future Retail Ltd replied stating "Please note, that this is a transaction at promoter's level. We, as Future Retail Ltd., do not have any information about such transaction, at this stage.<BR><BR>As this is a transaction related to fund raising at promoters' company, the Company; is not required to make any disclosure. As informed in our earlier correspondence, we have been following a consistent corporate governance policy of informing the shareholders with right information but refrain from commenting on any such news items, to avoid any speculative activity. With regard to the aforesaid news item, we once again confirm that the transaction .with Premji is not with Future Retail Ltd and hence we do not have any matter or information to be disclosed." | |
