The Exchange had sought clarification from Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd with respect to news article appearing in The Financial Express on January 7, 2015 titled "Glenmark Pharma wins patent war with Abbott"<BR> <BR>Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd replied stating "The Company confirms the news item "Glenmark Pharma wins patent war with Abbott" which has been independently published by the Financial Express on 7th January'15.<BR> <BR>The Company has no plans in the near future to launch this product in India and hence does not consider the same as material, requiring disclosure under Clause 36 of the listing agreement."
