GMR Infrastructure Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 16, 014, inter alia, has considered and approved, subject to necessary approvals, as may be required, issue of equity shares by way of rights issue to the shareholders of the Company ("Rights Issue") for an amount upto Rs. 1500 Crore in aggregate in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009 ("ICDR Regulations"), as amended and other applicable laws, rules and regulations.
