| With reference to the news item appearing in the news channel (CNBC TV 18 on July 22, 2014) regarding "D B Realty to hold majority stake and Godrej to hold 45% and to build Bandra East Redevelopment project from MHADA", Godrej Properties Ltd has Clarified to BSE as under:<br/><br/>"1. As a Developer, Godrej Properties Limited keeps evaluating business opportunities on an ongoing basis, and is in discussions with multiple parties viz; intermediaries/ owners/developers, including DB Realty, for development of various parcels of land. As per Companys practice, any definitive decision taken by the Company is immediately intimated to the Stock Exchanges in due compliance of Clause 36 of the Listing Agreement.<br/><br/>2. We would like to inform you that we had received an email from CNBC TV 18 seeking our affirmation to their story yesterday. As the specifics carried in the said story was speculative, in response, we had informed them that we do not comment on market speculation.<br/><br/>3. The Company is not aware of any information announced to the Exchanges which could explain the aforesaid movement in the trading.<br/><br/>The Company further confirms that it has not released any specific information pertaining to the news item." | |
