Gokak Textiles Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its Meeting held on August 13, 2014 had decided to change the financial year for a period of 6 months from October 01, 2014 to March 31, 2015.<BR><BR>The Company has been implementing certain business strategies viz., reorganization of business divisions, productivity improvement, cost reduction measures etc. The impact of these measures are expected to be felt over the next few months.<BR><BR>In view of the above, the Board of Directors of the Company at its Meeting held on March 04, 2015 have approved continuation of financial year of 12 months i.e. September 30, 2015 in supersession of its earlier decision to keep the current financial year only for 6 months. Accordingly, the current financial year of the Company shall be from October 01, 2014 to September 30, 2015.
