Mr. Vijay Rai has been a Director of Greaves Cotton Limited (''the Company'') since March 2002. <BR> <BR> The second tenure of Mr. Rai as an Independent Director was upto 12th October, 2017, and thus, as per the provisions of the Companies Act. 2013, he ceased to be an Independent Director of the Company from the close of business hours on 12th October, 2017. <BR> <BR> Mr. Rai is having rich experience in varied fields especially in farm business. In order to continue to avail the benefit of his rich experience, the Board has appointed him as an Additional Director (non-executive, non-independent) with effect from 13th October, 2017.<BR> <BR> Mr. Rai is not related to any Director of the Company.<BR>
