With reference to the earlier letter dated August 12, 2014 regarding Updates on Plant at Gumidipoondi, Tamil Nadu, Greaves Cotton Ltd has now informed BSE that the Company has permanently closed the manufacturing operations at its Construction Equipment Business plants due to non-viability and to avoid incurring further losses.
