| HeidelbergCement India Ltd has informed BSE that Mr. Jamshed Naval Cooper, Director (Sales and Marketing) of HeidelbergCement India Limited (HCIL / the Company) has taken over the position as Chief Operating Officer of the Company, reporting to Mr. Ashish Guha with effect from June 04, 2014.<br/><br/>Cementrum I B.V. of Netherlands, the holding company of HCIL, has proposed the appointment of Mr. Cooper as Managing Director of the Company with effect from July 01, 2014, subject to the approval of Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Board of Directors of HCIL.<br/><br/>Mr. Cooper will succeed Mr. Ashish Guha, who had vide letter dated May 02, 2014 resigned from the position of CEO and Managing Director but at the request of the Board of Directors of HCIL had acceded to continue in office till the appointment of a successor. | |
