| The Exchange has sought clarification from Hero MotoCorp Ltd with respect to news article appearing in The Economic Times on October 21, 2014 titled "HeroMoto to 'Leap' at an European Opportunity."<br/><br/>Hero MotoCorp Ltd replied stating:<br/><br/>"We had duly sent the disclosure on Monday (Oct 20th) to the stock exchanges regarding the official opening of our Garden Factory at Neemrana, wherein we had also announced our plans to invest Rs.5000 crore in India and overseas over the next few years. During the interactions with the media at the Garden Factory on Monday, there were specific queries from journalists on the company's plans for Leap and the launch plans for Europe, and the aforementioned facts were only repeated without making any fresh announcement.<br/> <br/>Therefore, in our opinion, there was no requirement of further disclosure to the stock exchanges as no new information was being shared with the media." | |
